8 Critical Thinking Insights No Business Can Afford to Ignore

It started with a simple question a colleague asked me:
“But how do you identify critical thinking development needs in a company?”
“Hmm... good question,” I thought.
And that inspired me to design a survey and conduct in-depth interviews with professionals across countries, industries, and levels of seniority, to identify those needs.
The next step was to share what I discovered with other professionals, equally curious and committed to thinking better.
On April 16, 2025, a group of thoughtful professionals came together at a wonderful location “Meet Tuesday” in Rotterdam to explore the topic “8 Critical Thinking Insights No Business Can Afford to Ignore”. We discussed assumption-checking, decision-making blind spots, and how risks often go unseen—not because people lack intelligence, but because they lack shared clarity. And then we practiced.
We laughed. We reflected. We connected.
And watching the golden sunset over the Rotterdam skyline from the 23rd floor (what a glorious end to a memorable evening!), I was reminded:
Sometimes a single question can spark insight. And insight can spark change. And shared insight can spark meaningful connections.
